Al Boraq Route & Stations Guide

Al Boraq Route and Stations: Tangier to Casablanca

The Al Boraq route connects Tangier with Casablanca through Kenitra and Rabat. It is Morocco's high-speed rail corridor and the fastest rail option between the country's major northern cities. This station-by-station guide helps you choose the correct stop and plan onward connections.

Al Boraq stations from north to south

StationCityUseful connection
Tangier VilleTangierCity transport and road transfers to ferry terminals.
KenitraKenitraConnections toward other parts of northern and eastern Morocco.
Rabat AgdalRabatUrban transport and access to Morocco's capital.
Casa VoyageursCasablancaConventional trains toward Marrakech and other destinations.

Always check the exact stops shown for your departure. Service patterns can vary, and a through itinerary may include a conventional train segment.

Tangier Ville station

Tangier Ville is the city station used by Al Boraq. It is not the same location as Tangier Med port. Travelers arriving by ferry should allow time for the transfer from their arrival port to the rail station. For the complete journey, see Tangier to Casablanca trains.

Kenitra station

Kenitra sits between Tangier and Rabat and can be a useful interchange. When traveling toward Fes or another inland destination, compare the through search results rather than assuming every connection uses the same station or waiting time.

Rabat Agdal station

Rabat Agdal is the main high-speed stop for the capital. Check the station name carefully because Rabat has more than one rail station. Routes such as Rabat to Tangier and Rabat to Casablanca can show multiple train types.

Casa Voyageurs station

Casa Voyageurs is Casablanca's principal long-distance station and the southern end of the current Al Boraq corridor. It is different from Casa Port and from Mohammed V Airport station. Passengers continuing to Marrakech normally change or board a conventional intercity train here. See the Casablanca to Marrakech guide.

Journey time and frequency

The fastest Tangier–Casablanca journeys are around two hours and ten minutes, but duration and stopping pattern depend on the selected departure. Timetables can change, so use the live search for the date you intend to travel.
